Location Data
When you grant permission, the App accesses your device's location to determine the nearest Prague metro station. This is the core functionality of the App.

How We Use Your Information
Your location data is used solely to:
- Calculate the nearest Prague metro station to your current position
- Display real-time departure information for that station
Location data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers or anywhere else. Once the nearest station is determined, the location data is discarded.
Third-Party Services
Golemio API
To provide real-time departure information, the App connects to the Golemio API, a public data platform operated by Operátor ICT, a.s. (a company owned by the City of Prague).
- Data sent: Metro station identifier (e.g., "Muzeum")
- Data received: Real-time departure times for metro lines
- Your location is NOT sent to this service

App Distribution Platforms
The App is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect certain data according to their own privacy policies:
Data Storage and Security
All user preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by the operating system. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
- Local storage only: Your preferences never leave your device
- No cloud sync: Data is not uploaded to any cloud service
- No accounts: The App does not require registration or login
Your Rights and Choices
Location Permission
You have full control over location access:
- Grant permission: Enable automatic nearest station detection
- Deny permission: Manually select your station from the list
- Revoke anytime: Change permissions in your device settings
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data by:
- Uninstalling the App from your device
- Clearing the App's data in your device settings
Children's Privacy
The Prague Metro App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App does not require age verification as it does not collect personal data.
